Anon: We aren’t animals, which have no thought, but are instinct and desire driven creatures. Their concerns is eating, drinking and reproduction. The difference of sapience vs. sentience. Just because we think about something doesn’t mean that we have to, or even should follow through with it. Humans have thought about planetary obliteration/ destruction, but if we are but unreasoning beasts, such a concept would never enter the mind of the non-sapient creature. We humans have had such thoughts, but we have yet to obliterate/destroy the planet which we live on. Which leads me back to the earlier statement that just because one can think of something, it doesn’t have to be executed, nor should we make reality certain thoughts that we are capable of conceiving.
