Description
Marble statue in commemoration of Luna by her loyal followers after her return from her millennium long banishment.
Luna has somewhat of a ‘temple’ where offerings are given to her, said temple has memorabilia from different generations of her followers as well as historical documents dating back from her youthful reign. That’s just a fancy way of saying her coming of age as a ruler.

I have a different drawing of Luna as a marble statue from months ago that was my DA header for the longest time, but I never posted it because I just didn’t like how it looked. So I wanted to try my hand at redrawing it using reference from an artist I admire that does amazing marble statue studies (they go by _Yuming_Li on twitter)
I think I’m more fond of this version even with it’s glaring flaws, but it’s light years better then the previous piece.
