A lot of ideas were going through my head while making this piece.
First of all to make it after such a long break from ponies vectors were Lauren Faust’s words/tweets about the fact that her idea from the very beginning about the show was that there would be only two alicorns and that Twilight would be a Celestia’s successor. She also had left after season one due to creative differences. Then Ha$bro had just freedom and made more alicorns so they can sell more toys.
It’s just so painful for me to discover the truth now as a person that loves to create own stories, universes ang play storytelling games that it all went “overpowered” with the show just because of marketing.
But as they say it is what it is.
