So what would the plot be for this one? For me, lets just say Twilight has doubts on Cao Pi since hes trusted by Princess Celestia on the destiny to unify the mixed land of the Three Kingdoms (AKA China ) and parts of Equestria. Sima Zhao leads his own faction and although an enemy of Cao Pi, he wishes Twilight to trust Cao Pi regardless how he does. Therefore, he decides to attack. But when he sieges at Fan Castle, Cao Pi surrounded the castle with his troops. Then, Twilight uses this opportunity to defect to Sima Zhao and tries to route his army even with Rarity in it, apologizing to her about her doubts.
So about the “officers”, Trixie would be a stratergist for Cao Pi since shes like a rival match to Twilight obviously. Rarity would just be an ordinary unique officer, but she could stop Spike from advancing. (LOVE IS BEAUTY ) Other than that, she could have a special conversation with Cao Pi.
And no, if I were to be in charge of a DW x MLP FiM game, the only ones that will have their life taken away, if you know what I mean, are the humans/warriors only. )
Cao Pi and Sima Zhao sprites along with the map are made by me (Yukimazan)
FYI, the “Jin Empire” (晉朝) was a really unstable one, starting off with a decadent ruler, succeeded a weak emperor amid eight squabbling princes his father appointed. It resulted in the Jin Empire splitting up with sixteen kingdoms (some of which were ruled by northern “barbarians”), before they were succeed by the chaotic Southern and Northern Dynasties for around 200 years, after which they were then replaced by the Sui in 581.
By the way, it was famous for its pottery, and the Buddhist monk Faxian’s travels to Xinjiang (western China) and India to retrieve Buddhist scriptures.
i c wut u did thar
That’s true. I think some of it is also based on Koei loving Shu to death.
The part where Cao Cao ordered Lu Bu executed comes to mind (he was considering using him until Liu Bei reminded him of Lu Bu’s chronic backstabbing disorder. If that wasn’t enough to cause Cao Cao to reconsider, Lu Bu threatening him for pointing this out was.).
I just want to say that Dynasty Warriors is not just “not 100% accurate”. It is far from accurate. For example, do you know that Lu Bu were never labeled as the mightiest warrior in real history? He was indeed strong, but not that exaggerated. There was no such thing as Three Heroes Combating Lu Bu. In the Campaign against Dong Zhuo, He was actually defeated by Sun Jian, the tiger of Jiangdong. Also, there isn’t any official document could prove that Diaochan exist. In the true history, it only recorded that Lu Bu was having affair with one of Dong Zhuo’s service maid.
People said that the novel ROTTK is 70% history and 30% imagination. However, in Dynasty Warriors, in order to make it more entertaining, the proportion of the imagination is clearly much higher. If you ask me, I’ll say it is 30% history and 70% imagination.
Just imagine the soldiers like “It’s…It’s…BIG MAC-whacked “
YUP!
Damn straight hilarious. XD
Maybe to an extent…I still think Big Mac would make a silly and Ironic Lu Bu.
…Actually, I think I wanna see someone make a fanfic where they do a history play and everyone thinks Big Mac would be best Lu Bu.
Sounds like it can be funny if done right.
Although Dynasty Warriors is a bit based on the Three Kingdoms period, it’s kinda more focused on the novel ROTTK. I do agree it can be a bit weird or unsuitable but this one’s just based on the game that doesn’t 100% correctly show on the history. Moreover, not even the characters look much like that.
I know some that doesn’t approve something like this so it’s ok. Maybe it would be better if the mane six would somehow get stuck in the DW world and have to unify the land, from a fanfic that I read. Again, sorry if this isn’t your type. ^^;
Dynasty wars is one of them
