Yes, it’s called “refeeding syndrome”. When you starve your body of the essential nutrients it needs, it needs to readjust to it again very slowly because if you eat too fast or too much, your body gets overwhelmed of all the nutrients it’s been neglected for so long and you suffer from a heart attack as a result. Hitch is right that she should take it slow.

I really hope she doesn’t try killing herself by shoving it all in.

Also really hope her body doesn’t naturally reject the pear piece(s) and she’s scared everyone will think she did it on purpose. That would be an emotionally crushing blow, now things out of your control are hurting your progress.
