Artist’s note about the page: Tbh this strangely is the part I have been most nervous about lol. I took a lot of inspiration for the story from the IDW comics but to make the story work I needed my own version of Sombra’s final return from the shadows. So like the IDW story he’s a shadow pony but I also did some world building. Like… How is the “Crystal Empire” an “empire” if it’s just one settlement? Obviously in my story here I’ve changed that, adding more settlements to the empire that I figure weren’t included in the show for simplicity’s sake. Anyway, hope ya folks like the little interlude here! Gotta give the relationship between Sombra, Shining Armor and Cadance some character!

Sombra’s Final Lesson:
For two years the former villain Sombra has been living under house arrest in the crystal palace undergoing royal friendship lessons but a moment of utter passion carries all three of them into a new lesson together. Can Sombra finally learn to hold power over another in a loving caring way? Or will he reveal his old villainous self?
