It’s why I’m a little put off by Megan and Larson overhyping S4 episodes. I’d wish they would the cut the crap of overselling S4. It’s worse when the writers themselves overhype future episodes.
I don’t see how that has anything to do with my post.
Every writter has their own style, simple as that. People try to pass their preferences and opinions as fact, pretending to know about writting and characterization and how episodes are made.
Over-hyping her will only cause the more drama when enough people hate one of her episodes; there already ARE people who hate her episodes for one reason or another.
Oh yeah, I forgot that apparently we have a ponified version of Williams that is jealous of Powell.

Powell’s only credits prior to FiM were on completely different kinds of shows. I think she said somewhere when asked about what she did to prepare that she just watched a few episodes. That’s all a writer for the show really needs to do, just watch one or two episodes.
Too hard? Well, yes. Not everyone can do this kind of thing. Not everyone is an artist. But at the very least, there are people who try, and that alone is commendable.
