it was never a credo, it never was and it will never be, if you think about it, it doesn’t have sense…
there is stuff that cannot be tolerate.

love and tolerance was never the fandom credo, it was just a very effective countertroll strategy during the 4chan wars, let it die already.
Superman is an established super hero adn not to be compared to ponies.
I noticed a lot of people love and tolerate the heck out of canon ponies, but tend to forget this motto when it comes to OCs, even when they’re decently designed and no canon x OC shipping is involved.
Judging books by their cover is what I mean. People see this image, see Rarity hug an alicorn OC and go apeshit without knowing even the tiniest bit about the OC.
A lot of alicorn OCs are made to bang the princesses
Most are ridiculously overpowered
Our credo ‘love and tolerance’ works only when it fits people’s ideas.

Personally, I got nothing against alicorn OCs at all. Well, mostly. I have to be honest there. I have no understanding for OCs that overshadow and easily outmatch the other alicorns. That’s simply lame and uncreative.
@RIG
I know I’m in a vanishingly small minority, but I think the fandom could use a little more love and tolerance.
Agreed. Some things can never be tolerated or deserve even trying to understand them.

I assume it’s mostly because of:
