Actually, I will share a hypothesis:
They felt it would discourage further comments, including those that might fall under the catagory of “I need help with my struggle with this issue” because of a false sense that that would be “rude” in that it would push said links further down (or up depending on sort order) the page.

That will be appreciated by future readers. I found three panels I had “missed” earlier today due to my filter.

I should also post this to the site suggestions thread, but gallery creators should have an optional “comic mode.” This would treat images that are normally hidden as being spoilered, so they still don’t display automatically but also indicate that there is an image there.

Just needs the Simpsons version, “Hey there’s still time let’s hug her again.”

We have a forum for fan fictions where you could post that, and then link it on one of these images if it was appropriate and related to the image.

You can also add the image to the beginning of the first post to show what the inspiration was, and so that people can follow the thread back to this series.

But, posting long-form stories on images usually is Rule #6. It’s better if the story is only linked.

Thank you for the motivational words. I haven’t been able to sleep too well because 4chan was down a bit ago, and I was very scared that the thread would close. I managed to save it in the last second, but it still caused me to panic. I still don’t know why I’m so dependant on it. I haven’t been doing too good physically either and I had to go somewhere with my sibling yesterday, and I found it exhausting. I’m not trying to excuse my poor writing, but I just thought that you should know. I’ve never been very good with endings.

Umm… Might want to try that post again? I am getting what I think is a single broken character?

Or just leave it and assume that Sunny’s insecurities won’t latch onto it as a reason to feel isolated. Maybe because she knows that while Hitch will protect her (even from herself) both as a friend and as a resident of Maretime Bay (because: Sheriff), he doesn’t live with her like the other three do (because: stallions and mares), so he can’t be near when she is sleeping.

I really feel that spurts of happiness followed by challenges and hard days are all a part of the process. I think you are portraying Sunny very well, and all of her friends are very much in character, too.

Once you get some distance from this, you will probably be surprised by some of the subtle details and powerful messages you have entwined in this story.

It’s like you’re passing through a fugue state - what will come out the other end will have more to do with your experiences and your own voice, and your muse than your plans :)
