As long as I’m working on a screencap comic, I’m glad I’m doing it for a beautiful show like FiM. That last panel actually made writing for this comic more difficult. My original script took up just a little bit too much of the image for my liking - not for lack of room, as you can see, but because I wanted to preserve the art as much as possible.

You’d think a screencap webcomic would be the easiest project of all (and it is, relatively speaking), but it still comes with plenty of its own creative challenges.

DM: So, it looks like you won’t be meeting that particular party member until later.
Twilight Sparkle: And why exactly is that so?
DM: Well… You’ll have to wait and find out.
Spike: “Summer Sun Celebration Official Overseer’s Checklist!” Are you ready, Twilight?
Twilight: Sure. If the plan is, indeed, to take the grand tour of utopia before doomsday steals it away.
Spike: You really ought to lighten up, Twilight.
Twilight: You’re my familiar. Shush.
Spike: “…Number 1: Banquet preparations: Sweet Apple Acres!”
DM: And as he says that, you find yourself standing in front of-
Applejack: Hold your horses! …Heh. I’ll gladly take over from here, thank you.
