I just realized, reading through this comic for the 3rd time, that this represents Sunny’s impact on her pony community.

All those dark thoughts she had about herself seemed to unfortunately really blind her. But even though she was away in the hospital with her friends, things outside continued to grow and improve. The changes might’ve been subtle day-to-day, but the great progress would be more noticeable from her POV. And she didn’t need to turn into an Alicorn to make it happen. She made a difference even while recovering in the hospital when she couldn’t see it.

SINCE and only since you feel that way I shall paraphrase something from the videogame development industry: “A delayed comic is annoying for the duration of the delay, but a bad comic is bad forever.”

…also note that our annoyance level with delay is very LOW.

…also ALSO note that both software and comics actually can be patched after first publication.

tl;dr So wait until you are in a better mindset! Easier said than done, but I still think it to be good advice.

It’s a tad bit difficult to write out recovery when I’m not in the best mindset myself, so I hope that these are still alright.
