“Seriously though, this movie is as bizarre as it is imaginative.
The characters are all great and memorable, the protagonist is both flawed and likable which makes her really engaging and relateable, the animation is beyond belief (perhaps one of the best stop motion films ever made) and the creativity has its dial turned all the way up to eleven.
It even delivers its message really well! You know, the whole thing about how sometimes wishing for something only ends up getting you in more trouble, but it never feels like its wagging its finger towards the audience about it. Some might argue that its a really scary movie, and that it might be too intense for children, but I dont think thats a bad thing. If anything, it will draw them deeper into the story and deliver the moral more effectively.
Its a really good, really well done, creative, excellent movie, and I cant recommend it any harder.
And now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to get out of this snowball. Its drafty in here.”
Chrysalis would make the perfect mlp version of the the beldam. She could lure children in disguised as there “other parent” so she can feed on there love. She just wants something to love, or maybe she just wants something to eat
