Description
I haven’t seen this anywhere here but a press release for My Little Pony: A New Generation was released a while back and revealed some very interesting information about the movie such as…
Generation 5 is confirmed to take place a hundred years after Generation 4.
The three pony cities of G5 are inspired by three major locations from G4:
Maretime Bay is based off of Ponyville with the buildings serving as an inspiration for the town.
Bridlewood is based on the Everfree Forest with it being described as an evolution of the forest.
Zephyr Heights is based off of Cloudsdale. The Pegasi moved to the mountains to simulate living above the clouds.
Even FiM’s writers seem to have forgotten about Princess Flurry Heart.
That less offensively ill-conceived now that I see the plural. Still don’t have high hopes, but at least there’s a chance they’ll make an interesting story out of it.
It has been that way since the movie was released September 2021.
That seems to be a misunderstanding on the part of the OP, since as stated in the comments below, the actual notes say hundreds of years, not a hundred.
Based on =/= is
That is nothing new in the franchise of the legend of zelda or in final fantasy, exactly the same thing happens and not to mention the franchise “tales of” and xenoblade chronicles and the mlp franchise is not the exception to this since g1 that happens now that each generation restarts the things already established to make its own version of many of the concepts of the previous generations
What I want to know is where they got the 100 years from, since according to the notes:
