i’ve always found this “Life in Equestria” to be rather pointless, I don’t even get how it relates to anything in the episode, Twilight just sort of starts singing about how awesome life in equestria is for..some reason.
 
Is it supposed to be a song about how awesome the status quo is…? well that doesn’t make much sense because she sings a reprise at the end, was that the point of that song, a song to signify the change of the status quo? I don’t know.
 
Really what I find unfortunate is that this song was probably just added specificly for the reaction bronies would have, ergo “everything is going to be just fine” at the end.
 
I was really excited for the songs in this episode aswell, I loved the song M.A. Larson did for ‘Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000’ I think it has the best song the show has ever done, so I was slightly dissapointed with the lackluster songs in ‘MMC’ it had..two good ones, I personally loved Celestia’s song and The Cutie mark song was…okay, but other than those two the rest bored me and just brung the story to a hault.
 
That one song which I’ve dubbed ‘The Moping song’ is easily the worst of the episode, it grinds everything to a screeching hault and honestly doesn’t even fit with the show to me.
 
But despite me thinking this episode doesn’t really work because it was rushed and didn’t seem as well thought out as it should have been…I still like it, theres certainly no reason in the episode for me to go off on a two year old whine fest about how its the worst thing i’ve ever seen, I just don’t think its really on par with the best the show has done.

If only she crashed into the camera. In a slapstick way to make us all laugh and we’d be like aww twilight.
