This was back in January and she STILL cries every time she hears Stuck In The Middle With You.

Well. That was a little disturbing at times. Like the part where Holly describes the destruction of their original Warren, about how all the rabbits crushed each other trying to get out.  
Overall, a great movie. Reminded me of the Walking Dead or some other post-apocalyptic story.

I’m torn on whether I’d recommend it. Frankly, I think Fluttershy is mature enough that she would find Watership Down to be an interesting read. The occasional tearjerker keeps your tastes from turning trite.
 
On the other hand, I might be wrong, and reading something more tragic than someone can handle can be a pretty painful experience.
 
On the gripping hand, I would choose to respect Fluttershy’s intelligence and tell her that it’s a good read and something she will value having read once she’s done with it, but it’s not comfort food.
