You know I just noticed, the way this story portrays Opaline is very much in line with the stepmother from Cinderella, she’s giving off that same vibe of control and contempt that the stepmother did. I mean we’ve already seen shades of it in the Make your Mark series, but here we see in it full force, without any lighter moments to dilute it.
