I thought that was “poof,” but I’ll be the first to say I’m not much of a comic buff.
It depends on the direction. “Poof” is for things disappearing, “bamf” is for things appearing. It’s an effect of fluid dynamics…
(contrary to Wikipedia’s idea, the word dates back at least to Walt Kelly’s Pogo comics in the 50’s, altho not in the context of teleportation).

It’s part 51 of a comic that is multiple years in. The genre is pretty fixed. I don’t know where you’re hoping this doesn’t go, but if you don’t want happy sex times featuring a polyamorous cast that gets only more bisexual over time, then you’re in the wrong place. And if you do want that, I doubt you’ve anything to worry about.

Are there any villains in this series? Other than Trixie’s ex, and he’s kind of weak for a villain.
That’s a good point. Thusfar no ideas for villains have come to me that would fit within this type of story. I mostly focus on interpersonal relationships… and it would be hard to make a baddie who is defeated by the Power Of Fucking. XD
I have considered how I might use Protein Shake in the future, though. But I don’t want him to just be the repeated buttmonkey, and I also don’t want things to get TOO serious/dark.

It could be Starlight before she got hold of the ‘back in time scroll,’ but right after ‘Twi stopped her Artown thing.’ Then again… it could be Chrysi… for whatever reason… I prefer the ‘redeemed Starlight angle’ … who knows which it is.

Not sure what Starlight is going for here unless we’re doing the “she faked redemption” story or it’s not really Starlight (either her from another universe or Chrysalis shape-shifting)
Either way, I don’t know what she’d offer if she’s going for some revenge angle. The Dazzlings haven’t really seemed interested in vengeance. I guess she might offer a way for them to get their power back like they had with the gems?
