So fucking true, as in what the disgusting part of the fanbase is like, that’s what I mean, though if I were at the store, I’d get the Care Bears plush, as though I like MLP and have plushies of them, I’m more of a Care Bears fan.

I bought a small Twilight Sparkle plush today on a whim.  
As a sort of joke to amuse myself, I set it up in the passenger’s seat and referred to it as “Sparky”.

Because of his first line, I could not help but read all the guys lines in Morbo’s voice.

The three depictions you normally see in mass market toys, hats, whatevs are Twilight, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash. My headcanon abouut that follows.  
Twilight has to be in it, per Celestia’s orders.  
Rarity will not be caught dead in WalMart, but is okay in Hot Topic.  
Pinkie will do anything for fun.  
Applejack’s too busy for posing for some stupid hat or bag.  
Rainbow has no problems with being admired, and anything with her on it is 20% cooler.  
Fluttershy has not recovered from being a model yet.

While i’m not entirely certain why we’re all portrayed as such a creature,

I’ll ask this, Why is an old Superman or Barbie doll that’s still in it’s original box, worth more than one that’s been properly played with? Because it’s been well taken care of and admired, A toy is meant for children, so it’s VERY uncommon to find one in good condition years down the road. I’m not saying an object has to be kept in perfect condition to be admired, but just think about this… 20-30 years down the road, we’re gonna be like our grandparents with our well taken care of Equines, seeing how the fandom has continued to spread over the years, I see our beloved ponies becoming a sort of “retro” later on.
 
Perhaps then we’ll be seen in a more positive light, Maybe we’ll still be portrayed as neckbeards. That much really does not matter to me, I’ll just be happy to look back to the old days of early 2012 and remember when friendship was magic and when people whom had never met before became brothers.
 
All that good came to be, just because a group of people decided a cartoon deserved to be of good quality for a change.
 
I have every intention of passing my well taken care of Fluttershy plush on to my own grandchildren, not because it’s pony and adorable… but because we pass on things to our younger generation because they meant something special to us.

“Make a child happy”, yeah right. Getting thrown aside for videogames when he’s 8, be covered with all sorts of sweat and mud, spending half of your life lost under the furniture, losing parts of yourself before getting thrown out or lost on the street or at school in 2nd grade must feel AMAZING.
