While this is a funny/creepy parody of that scene, I think this would be to vulgar/violent/silly if this was actually in the show personally. It’d kinda take some of the cuteness/innocence away. What I like about FiM is, it has some of that modern & classic cartoon “edgyness,” and humor, yet still keeps the cuteness, and innocence, in tact.
 
The the most “edgy/vulgar” I think we’ve seen in the show was Fluttershy “attacking” that bear, and that bird barfing on her. Maybe a few other moments to… But I like how this show is a li’l edgy at times, but doesn’t go into “SpongeBob” levels of insanity…

Looks like a usual Spongebob gag if you ask me…
 
Of course, before they decided they needed to be more graphic and have muscles and everything.
