The ol’ pomfy paradox. Their floof makes ideal fire-retardant, but in order to get your hands on it you need fire-retardant wear to survive when they see your razor and go full nirik on you :P

Nothing is snugglier than a kirin. Even when they’re not in nirik form their bodies are far warmer than a pony’s :D

It’s similar to asbestos, but rather than being small fibers it’s like hair. Highly resistant to flame, not harmful to inhale. Kirin floof is highly sought after for a myriad of applications, but it’s very hard to get your hands on :P

Kirin floof is the best. Soft, warm, fire-resistant up to around 3,500°F :P
