Wrong magic color. Fleur’s magic aura is normally pink in fim.

The one where Fleur’s magic aura is yellow in the series is an animation error because Hasbro didn’t use Fleur-de-lis in the fim series very often. Fleur only had 3 big episodes of her own in the whole fim series with the rest of her scenes in fim being brief cameos for a few seconds in the other episodes of fim. Since Hasbro didn’t use Fleur’s magic aura much in the fim series, it’s very likely that they just forget what color Fleur’s magic aura normally is and got it colored wrong in Season 9 of fim.

like I said, all unicorns are born without a cm, so there’s no telling if their aura will even matches them, plus I meant “a rare case” to sunburst and his markings only.

I looked at the thread. It’s based on nothing. Cadence takes from her cutie mark, it’s not ‘a rare case’ most unicorns take from their cutie marks, even Twilight you shared below does as her cutie mark and magic are both magenta.

Light blue like CM.

Teal like CM.

Yellow like CM.

Yellow like CM.

Trixie is actually an exception that takes from her eyes, and some others do too, but CM is more common.

well for sunset, her original aura was blue-ish green, and same color as her eyes, and I think being redeemed in rainbow rocks changed it, however all unicorns are born without their cutie marks, so their aura is likely based elsewhere on their bodies (and not just from their hair), of which with sunburst I think is a rare case, cause it looks like his, is from the markings he has.

Sweetie Belle and Trixie for example DUE take from their eyes, but actually most take from the cutie mark.

No it’s actually usually the cutie mark.

actually a unicorn’s aura are often matched with their eyes, not usually with the mane and tail too (except sunset when she was redeemed).

Interesting that after chapter 4 she still has her old mane.
Maybe there is an special before this episode (?

Now, I like the new mane, but maybe it should have a little more of the purple.

She looks awesome. I like this mane more.

I mean people are offput by this for a reason. and its not rocket science, so many people know color theory lol

Everyone suddenly becomes color experts after something new appears. The same happened with CMC’s Cutie Marks.

I think for it to work like her old design did, she’d either have to have orange eyes or the orange in the hair would have to be a shade of pink. Though i get that it’s supposed to look like dawn, and you can’t just change your eyes… its a tough one.

I was thinking the same thing. It leaves the colors feeling a little out of place

What I like about her original design is the teal stripe that looks good with the green eyes - she had just a blue and green color scheme. The blue-green-purple-pink/red color scheme she has now I’m not that used to. Her new necklace bracelet is really nice though

I’m guessing they switched the cool coloring for a warm color to emphasize her new freedom from Opaline.
