Frosty Clef is a 41 year old pegasus stallion originally hailing from Trottingham, but now living on the northern outskirts of Ponyville in a cottage, and working as a musician. He is an expert with the tenor saxophone, and often plays in Der Altstadt, a beer hall owned by Freya Karisdóttir.

Musically, though he often plays jazz, he has become enraptured by human music, especially Synthwave, though he does like rock, metal, and a little country as well. When it comes to other things that he likes, he is very much a lover of rain and storms, and has a soft spot for cakes and pastries, especially if they involve raspberries or apricot.

Physically, he has had a hard life, and already suffers from arthritis and diabetes. Numerous scars can be found over his body from a misspent youth of petty crime, fighting and drunkenness. However, despite all this, he would say that he’s now a better guy and wouldn’t change his ill-begotten past for the world. Having walked a fairly dark past, he has developed a great appreciation for the simple freedoms of Equestrian life, and though he is not a good fighter, he will defend the weak without hesitation, even if it leads to injury, or Celestia forbid, even unto his own destruction.

It is noted that he is fairly large for a pegasus stallion, and rather strong as well. His late mother was an earth pony, so it is surmised that he has taken on some of her traits. His father and his whereabouts are hitherto unknown at this time. Frosty has a brother who still lives in Trottingham, a pegasus by the name of Rocky Flash, and they are not currently on speaking terms, although Frosty is attempting to rectify this.

15 years ago he was helped out of his self-destructive lifestyle by his ex-partner, Mayday Blossom, and they lived together until around 4 years ago, where their relationship broke down and they went their separate ways. Frosty has never quite gotten over this, despite all this time, and despite his generally positive outlook, he has a LOT of hang-ups and regrets to work through.

Thankfully, Frosty and Mayday never had foals to complicate their split, as Mayday was infertile, and they never adopted. However, Frosty is now working to try and get over his past, and just wants to live a calm and happy life, free of heartbreak. Thus, he puts on a brave face and tries to get through life one day at a time, until such a time that he can get through his issues.

When it comes to more personal matters, Frosty Clef is heterosexual and very vanilla in his sexual preferences. He deeply values honesty, fidelity, and a sense of humour in a partner, and it is known that he loves physical affection as much as many mares do. Cuddles and snuggles are his kryptonite and he adores being close to those he cares about.
