The same shit happens with Misty not only in TYT but in MYM as well.

Posey likes being a bitch to the Mane 5 and everypony else doesn’t she.

The only thing about this that makes sense to me is that Posey has always had beef with Hitch. Always. In every scene they interact, she’s bitchy to him. I think the idea is that she’s a demanding Karen that’s constantly trying to tell the town sheriff how to do his job. Even though I think that if Hitch and Posey actually sat down and talked they’d find they have a bit in common, like how they struggle on adjusting to change.

But for everything else…I don’t know. I don’t think Tell Your Tale knows what to do with Posey outside of torturing her. The My Little Pony podcast was pushing for a redemption for her in her episode, but that hasn’t been delved into in the rest of the G5 media. I think the clip is implying that this episode is gonna be yet another episode where Maretime Bay is full of assholes, that don’t want the Bridlewoodstock festival to happen for some reason, and hinder the Mane 5’s efforts to organize it.

It doesn’t even make sense why the crowd is hating on Hitch otherwise. The movie made it very clear that the ponies of Maretime Bay love and respect him.
