Okay I’m calling it; spike will appear in chapter 5 and prolly teaches sunny how to use her alicorn powers like yoda or maybe it has the same arc as discord where he thinks magic is a mistake. I imagine him being a grumpy and cynical older dragon, about the size of Torch. Opaline is going to come for him. Spike returning would actually make the show more interesting because, not counting Discord (I consider IDW it’s own thing plus so many contradictions prove its another multiverse) Spike is the last surviving character of G4.

Dragons live much longer than Ponies (Alicorns are the exception, we see Opaline was alive when Celestia and Luna were just fillies, meaning she must be 2000 years old, I mean she is old, old!)
