For anyone who hasn’t herd (dohohoho), the crew behind the cancelled “Fighting is Magic” game are now close to finishing their own original IP called “Them’s Fightin’ Herds.” It’s a game where herbivorous quadrupeds from both nature and mythology fight as opposed to the thypical, more humanoid roster of most fighting games, and much of the design (at least character-wise) is done by none other than Lauren Faust. I am personally very hyped for this game, and as one of the higher tier backers from the kickstarter, I was allowed to design both an in-game lobby cosmetic item and a color pallette for a character of my choice. I’m really looking forward to playing Tianhuo, here, the Chinese longma.

So yeah, anyone who didn’t know, give Mane6 a look! It’s a great game with fantastic music and art design, and the fighting mechanics seem pretty solid, too.
