The hippogriffs of Mount Aris love IceBeak’s snowcones. They line up to her little cart and order some, a nice treat to stay cool with on the hot summer beach. While Icy does like experiencing warm weather, it has its drawbacks. Since she is adapted to the harsh, cold environment of the south pole, warmer temperatures cause her to overheat very easily, and the sunny beaches of Mount Aris feel like a scorching desert. Even with a cooling fan, it can get pretty uncomfortable for her. Novo takes notice of poor Icy’s plight, and thinks she can give the polar hippogriff a nice, air-conditioned beachside cabana.
Its a bit funny, I love warm weather and hate the cold, yet I have a character who lived in a cold environment and can’t handle the heat too well.”
