PRINCESS, PRINCESS, PRINCESS!!Don’t you get it?? The flying gopher is a metaphor! It obviously symbolizes that no matter how deep your heart has been buried, there will always be somepony out there to lift yourself up from your own dark depression!
It’s almost like—SNIFF—it’s an allegory about our real lives….it’s so poetic, it’s—SNIFF—beautiful!

Precisely why Princess Pipp questioned this: Did the winger gopher learn to fly because is was inside him all along or because the Breezie fairy granted him a wish? I’m sorry, it’s just a little unclear. Feels like a first draft. And because of that stifled question, I’m still laughing at Kenneth’s ragequit and total show biz failure! It’s almost like he didn’t want anything to do with Pipp’s afterthought. Still worth getting a buoyant belly-laugh when you think about it though.
