@Jack Kellar
Not really, in the novel brave new world, it’s a sort of super anti-depressant/narcotic that puts its users in a state of ecstatic bliss and is pretty much the go-to party drug that had replaced alcohol. This soma comes from the name of the ritual drink of the gods described in Hindu/some iranian mythology. The game Soma’s tile comes from the Latin word ‘soma’, meaning ‘body’ ( physical body as in contrast with psyche or the soul).
That said, it would be pretty nice if someone made a pony fanart of the game.
@Takanuva
It’s called “Two Weeks on a Cloud,” about a blonde mare who is kidnapped by a deviant pegasus who develops a possessive passion for her. It comes complete with a love scene on a cloud where the audience can feel the soft, fluffiness of the cloud as if they were there.
Twilight Sparkle: “You’re going out with the same colt yet again?”
Cadance, shrugging: “Shining Armor said he’d take me to the new feely tonight and I can’t miss that.”
Twilight: “But you know people will start talking, and, by Celestia, you ought to be more promiscuous. After all, everyone….”
Cadance, in a monotone: “…belongs to everyone else. I know. I was thinking of going out with Dr. Whooves this week-end. I know he’s an odd Alpha, but there’s something that attracts me to him.”
Twilight nodded in mild approval as Cadance put on her Malthusian belt, complete with a fresh set of contraceptives, dabbed herself with eau de rose, and trotted out of the mares’ bathroom.”
Nice work.
I wonder who would be the pony Bernard Marx? I like to think it’s Trixie, as after all, Starlight Glimmer is obviously Mustapha Mond.
IKR? I’ve been scouring Derpibooru for fan art of that ever since the game launched. Sadly, no results as of yet…
