This piece was commissioned by pixelpallet6. The idea was to transform baby alligator Gummy into baby dragon Gummy. Someone to help out Pinkie in the kitchen. The client provided the following dialogue:
Day 1: Pinkie Pie: Heh, Gummy, you look so smart in those glasses.
Day 2: Pinkie Pie: Oh, good, you’re standing. I could use help with some cupcakes.
Day 3: Pinkie Pie: Say, Gummy, what are you reading?
Gummy: …
Pinkie Pie: Looks like you’re having fun.
Day 4: Pinkie Pie: What are you writing there?
Gummy: hides scroll in his mouth
Pinkie Pie: Okey dokey then.
Day 5: Gummy: clears throat When the baby bird leaves its nest, it might seem as though the mother’s role has reached its conclusion. In reality, her role has been transferred, passed down to her offspring to repeat anew. It is the very essence of the circle of life. The baton passes down from one life to the next. Always the same, yet always different.
Pinkie Pie: I don’t know what all that means, but it’s good to hear you talking, Gummy.
