Yes but the fandom treats Discord very different than Trixie (at least earlier on). Discord had much fewer fic about why they were in the right and/or just a sad lost puppy and Twilight was in the wrong to call her out.
Yeah, that too. Twilight more or less softened instantly when it became clear to her Trixie actually cared about Starlight, and encouraged the latter afterwards.

Lets not forget that Trixie was befriending Starlight to stick it to Twi at first.
Yeah, honestly, Trixie made next to zero effort in getting along with Twilight in S6 (the reunion had Trixie acting very suspiciously smug and she’d vandalized the silverware before she left, and Twilight ended that episode apologizing to her). It’s… massively disingenuous to act like Twilight’s just blowing off repeated attempts to reach out to her, on Trixie’s part, lol.
