General Bio:

Kyron, despite his feral and shaggy appearance is a very friendly and caring individual. Personality wise Kyron received the best traits from both of his parents; he is organized, tactful, and book smart like his mother, but also a devoted friend, diligent, and loyal to a fault like his father. However like any normal pony he has his quirks and faults. He can sometimes have absolutely no common sense and blurt out something inappropriate at the wrong time, unintentionally hurting or making a situation more awkward for his friends and or himself. This happens especially if he is flustered or upset. He’s also a huge germaphobe and though he doesn’t mind getting his claws dirty when digging for gems or doing hard work, if anything is unsanitary or risks him contracting a sickness, he’ll go to the ends of Equestria to avoid it. This is mostly because he detests having to go to the doctor after a particularly traumatic event he experienced as a foal. Like his mother he is a huge science nerd and is not ashamed of his love for scify and geek culture; but although at heart he is a dweeb, his soul has incredible strength. It takes a lot to get under his scales… fur… hide and despite his situational awkwardness, his friends do tend to go to him for advice or help due to his occasional bouts of wisdom. Being part dragon, he is incredibly protective of anyone who he is close to, especially his younger sister and Ambrosia, typically being the one to drive off any bullies who decide to pick on the hybrids, but despite being a rather strange and somewhat scary creature himself, is great with children as they are able to look past his outward appearance and see his heart of gold.

Talent/Cutie Mark/Abilities:

Kyron although coming from two immensely powerfully magical beings, has very weak magic. No one can explain it or his disproportioned wings that only allow him to glide and not truly fly. To overcome this, he dedicated his life to learning means of safely amplifying his magic, which lead to the founding of his cutie mark. He studied the magical and amplifying properties of certain gemstones that with simple spells could greatly assist his magical aptitude. His cutie mark is the symbol for magic overlaid with a perfectly faceted emerald, his favorite gem. But there is a side to Kyron that no has been able to explain; He can go into what’s known as a feral mode if his life or the lives of those he cares about is in danger. During this phase, his magic is brought to full power without the need of amplifying crystals, his eyes and cutie mark turn red, his wings are able to carry his weight but he loses most of his mental control. He has only entered this state once in his life, and tries to avoid situation that could make him go feral, as he is afraid of the harm he could do to his friends and loved ones. Because he is of dragon blood, he can breathe fire and eat gemstones, and because of his research and familiarity with gems, his secret hobby is cutting and making jewelry, but only his mother, father sister and Ambrosia know about this.
