For Context: Rarity never found out that the rock was a geode, never put gems on her dresses and thus became a normal fashion designer.
Rarity never felt special, her dresses weren’t unique and her talent never felt special. She was just your run of the mill fashion designer in the industry. She did many jobs but nothing was that high end, she would never get that far due to one thing….
Her magic constantly pulling her away, she lose many jobs due to being dragged away to rocks all over. It took a toll on her mentally, it didn’t help that her own parents during all this never helped her… hell even abandoned her after she completely broke…
Losing a piece of herself permantly in a call for help; now in a constant strain of stress, migraines, and nearly being poor… she does what she can to keep herself afloat as well as her sister… left in the hooves of somepony on the brink…
