At least not yet.“Days Gone By” is probably my favorite song off the album, and I’ve been wanting to render it in line and color since first I heard it. I held back though, for lack of a good enough concept and a desire to do the song justice, but when I saw the Apples’ parents in “The Perfect Pear” I finally had something to work with. I suppose I should be happy it turned out half-way decent, what with my painting skills being dulled by disuse for the better part of a year. It seemed a shame to break a five year tradition though, so here you go. Merry Christmas, people!
