When ever a family member or friends kid says that to me I hurt a tad inside. I made so many mistakes. To me… art is not merely asthetic. Rather its an expressed emotion over life hardships.
Most of it looks happy or child like fun. Yet, some of it comes from learning difficult life lessons.
You don’t become something of an icon. Rather its the way you learn to live and overcome that becomes iconic. Just like a good story or deep illustration its not a mere euphora. Its a process.
