An alternate take on this:https://derpibooru.org/images/3204630
Scootaloo, the filly pegasus core was running through the deep woods; running as far as she could. As she ran, she remembered the words of her friend and idol Rainbow Dash.
“I won’t let them take you Scootaloo. You don’t need to be in their care. Run to the forest and hide somewhere safe. I’ll come look for you later.”
“I hope you’re right, Rainbow Dash.” Scootaloo said between gasping for air from her tiredless sprinting.
“I think that’s enough running. Time to find myself a place to hide.”
Looking at her surroundings, she could only see endless trees and stumps. She kept trotting and searching for anywhere that could be deemed safe.
“There’s gotta be somewhere I can go…Wait a minute.”
Scootaloo stared into the horizon and found something small and bright.
“That must be a house… with a light on. Someone must be there!”
Scootaloo’s eyes filled with excitement. She began flying towards the home with a happy hum and after a few minutes, she arrived at the doorstep of the home.
“I hope somepony is home…” She said nervously as she slowly brought her hoof to the doorbell.
DING DONG!
“Hello? Is somepony there?”
Scootaloo put her ear to the door, hoping to hear a voice on the other side. After waiting two minutes, her patience subsided and she knocked on the door. The door started to creek and swing itself open.
“The door must be unlocked.” The young filly began to ponder.
“I know it’s rude to enter anypony’s home without permission, but I don’t wanna be out here waiting to be captured.”
Scootaloo immediately walked in the house and shut the door, sighing in relief that she was safe. She turned around to see the home she invaded.
It was a nicely furnished home with a blue couch, round dining table with chairs, and two closed rooms in the back which were visible from the front door.
“Wow… The owner has a nice home. I wonder if they have any cool toys in the rooms for me to play with~”
Groooowwl
Scootaloo’s playful thought was interupted as she put her hoof to her stomach.
“I sure am hungry…but I’ll wait to find something to eat. For now, I’m gonna continue exploring the house.”
Trotting up to the room on the left, she slightly opened the door and took a peek. She found a huge queen sized bed, with nice blue sheets and pillows.
“No toys but a nice bed.”
She closed the door and tried the right door.
Upon the small glimpse she saw, she found a smaller bed with red sheets, a tall brown dresser, a pile of plushes in the corner of the room, and a decorative chest in the back.
“That’s more like it. A chest! Probably contains some toys if those stuffed plushes are anything to go by!”
The eager Scootaloo ran in and opened the chest, inside she found all kinds of lovely toys from plastic cars to bouncy balls. Her eyes glittered as she frantically searched for the best toy to play with.
As she searched, the plushes in the corner began to move as something was underneath them. A pair of eyes that were fixated on the filly searching the toy chest.
Suddenly, a pair of blue tentacles came out of the plush pile and grabbed the filly’s legs.
“H-huh?” Scootaloo yelped as she stopped moving for some reason. She looked down at her hind legs and saw blue tentacles wrapped around them. She looked up and gave a nervous gulp.
“AAAHHHH!”
Scootaloo was immediately pulled away from the chest. All she could do was squirm as she tried to break free from the tentacles. She turned around to try and get a good look at who was responsible.
“An octoplush? You must be…”
“That’s right, deary. It’s me, Ms. Dia.”
The octoplush had a diamond blue color scheme with black eyes and a wide but kind smile. She immediately wrapped Scootaloo entirely in her coils, leaving only her head.
“I was in my bedroom’s bathroom when I heard someone knocking at my door. After I heard your voice, I decided to hide away till you found me in the bathroom since I know you like hide and seek.” Ms. Dia chuckled before changing to a more serious mood.
“But instead, I see you snooping through my stuff. Now that I caught you, what brings you into my home, Scootaloo?”
Scootaloo knew Ms. Dia was a sweet person but she couldn’t bare telling the truth and risk going back to the caretakers.
“I was uh… trying to find you!” Scootaloo smiled nervously.
The octoplush could tell the young filly was fibbing.
“Now now, deary. You know it’s wrong to intrude. But you should also know better than to lie.”
“O-of course, Ms. Dia! I would never think to lie to you!”
The octoplush only smirked in response.
“Really now? Let me be sure that will be the case…”
Ms. Dia closed her eyes and as she opened them, green, yellow and blue colors spiraled in her eyes.
Scootaloo could only stare as those same colors begun to fill her own vision.
“Now Scootaloo. You are going to tell me the truth from now on.”
“Yes…Ms. Dia…” Scootaloo said with a smile. Her mouth hung agape as she stared into those pretty colors.
“Well then, what brings you into my home?”
“I was running away… from the caretakers thanks to Rainbow Dash…”
“That so?” Ms. Dia said with mild astonishment.
“I found your house… and hid away… trying to look for toys to play with…”
“I see. Well don’t you worry, I will keep you here, safe and sound with me.” Ms. Dia gave a warm smile to Scootaloo who could only stare blankly as her gaping mouth closed to form a subtle smile.
Groooowwl
Scootaloo could only blush as her stomach made noise within the coils. The growling made Ms. Dia chuckle.
“I see you haven’t eaten yet. Let me get you a bottle of milk and some food for you before you go to bed.”
The octoplush looked at the clock in the bedroom and saw it was past 9pm.
“It’s awfully late so I won’t send you back to the caretakers just yet. Instead, I’ll take care of you for awhile. Won’t that be fun?”
“Yes… Ms. Dia…” Scootaloo smiled as she is carried along by Ms. Dia’s warm plush tentacles. They make their way towards the kitchen and dining area where the young filly would be fed and nurtured for the rest of the night.
“I’m… I’m sorry if I intruded Miss. Dia,” The filly said before getting bottle of milk in her mouth to slip.
“It’s okay, Scootaloo,” the octoplush said with a sweet smile, feeding her coiled guest as night began to fall. “You’re a good girl, I can tell. So I’m happy to let you stay under my care for a while.” She stroked the fillies head, as Scootaloo’s eyes drooped. “Looks like you’re finally ready for bed.” Getting the filly into diamond blue footies, Dia tucked her into a soft, plush bed and blanket.
