That’s how I feel it too when I think of this idea ^^ it’s very mentally burdening to be an alicorn

This is a rather cute idea. Flash was a good guard so perhaps Hitch is his reincarnation or just embodies similar beliefs that remind Twilight of her first love. She’s likely not romance Hitch, even if he was close to the stallion she fell for long ago, but she wouldn’t be want to pluck him from somepony else in this time. But fondly recalls the Pegasus guard that made her fall in love and that in this new generation a similar stallion continues his legacy.

I love the concept of Hitch bumbling his way into having a super powerful marefriend. Something about that feels like it fits his character perfectly.

Would this make Hitch an heir to the Sparkle bloodline?
