Like many other ponies in Equestria, when news of a wish granting goat reached Flitter, she couldn’t miss out on the chance to check it out. The wish she wanted to ask for wasn’t for herself, but for her sister, Cloudchaser, who’s birthday was just around the corner. She wanted the best gift possible, something Cloudchaser would cherish forever. Flitter had been having trouble coming up with something her sister would truly love that she didn’t already have, but after a snap of the Djinn’s finger, she came to find out that the greatest gift of all was the gift of one’s self.

Transformed into a small charm hanging from a necklace and delivered to Cloudchaser, Flitter would not only be a gift that Cloudchaser would love, but once the other pegasus learned of Flitter’s disappearance, the necklace would never part from her as she kept it as a reminder of the sister that she lost. Flitter would learn first hand how much her sister cared for her, all the while screaming within her own mind as she was trapped in a form that could see, hear, and feel, but could never move or speak again.
