Ember was mulling over her decision, toying with a cup, when she heard a knock at the door. She answered to find a mail-dragon, who gave her a letter with a return address to The Changeling Kingdom.
When she opened it, she couldn’t believe her eyes.
It was a picture of Thorax and Nectar at the Changeling Hive, with Nectar sitting on the throne. The caption read, ‘Meet the new QUEEN OF THE CHANGELINGS’. Below the picture were the words ‘I’ll see you soon. Love, Thorax ♡’
Ember then realized that she had caused this when she broke up with Thorax.
“Oh Celestia, what have I done?”
