Plus, I’m pretty sure the whole ‘rock farming being boring’ thing is basically her origin story anyway. She literally described it as having “no smiles”.

Dunno. In my mind, at the time, it seems like the kind of thing Pinkie would think but not openly admit because it’s basically something associated with her family. (She admitted it wasn’t fun growing up on a rock farm in Cutie Mark Chronicles, IIRC, but she sorta defended it against Trixie’s condescending remarks in Magic Duel.)
 
I was also thinking about shadow Pinkamena here mentioning something closer in context for Party of One, but I wasn’t sure how to make that work.

Shouldn’t she say “Living in Ponyville is pretty boring” and that is her reason for trying to have parties there all the time.
