Then again, when you consider how Earth Pony magic could provide an unlimited supply of plant-based food, I suppose it could be totally acceptable to allow such an excessive abundance of food to spoil.

All of it was already spoiled anyway, as is required for the Friday Night Food Fights.

What does astonish me is how wasteful these ponies are to allow so much food to go bad in the first place.
