Well, it’s actually a pretty long story. You see…
I was bullied constantly as a colt. No surprise there. I had all the best factors for a bullied candidate: braces, glasses, no cutie mark (and this was in HIGH SCHOOL, so), but most of all, I was a string bean! I had no muscles to protect myself. From them.
One summer, I decided I had had enough. I started working out obsessively, but that wasn’t enough.
I checked out books about working out from the library, eventually getting into books about nutrition, health, biology, and so forth. It was all incredibly fascinating to me, so I kept reading and I kept working out, until, lo and behold…
I became healthier, more muscular, AND got my cutie mark! Granted, I still looked like a complete dork, haha, but it did stop a good handful of bullies in their tracks.
