Considering the actor who plays the character is a sore loser who’s mad at people making a meme out of his character dying, using this photo as a meme template is a good thing.
Now that I’m home, here’s the correct way to do it.
That’s not the correct way to share links to other image posts on this site.
to be fair. Not many people know Green Arrow.
Aright, sowwy about it. Thanks for explanations <3
You do realize the original photo was taken on a set for a TV show, right?
You can see the last line of it on the gravestone in this image, but the grave is for Oliver Queen, the fictional protagonist of the Green Arrow comics and (in this particular case) CW’s Arrow.
The Flash was spun off from the show two years later, and the two ran on air concurrently for several years.
However, Arrow eventually came to end, and with it, the character of Oliver Queen was killed off in-universe. The Flash meanwhile, would continue on for a few more seasons.
Thus, during the filming of Arrow’s finale, Grant Gustin (the actor portraying Barry Allen/The Flash) posed in front of the fake grave for this photo, as a joke about how the spinoff was going to continue on after the end of the parent series.
pretty sure it’s a DC Comics grave, not an actual person’s grave.
