I decided I wanted a kirin paladin to go with my hippocampus druid (Whaletail), I still haven’t come up with a name for her, but I’m proud of the design. I’m a bit worried that, due to the fact that I’m making my ocs in relation to a pony worldbuilding project, and I radically intend to change the mechanical abilities of a kirin, combined with the fact that I’m not entirely interested in treating fantasy races as parallels for real world cultures and ethnicities, that people who like kirin may not be particularly interested in mine, due to the fact that I intend to change their mechanics, but its my oc so all that really needs to happen is that I like it. But yknow.

I’m not going to loredump, I’m writing a worldbuilding document and I’d prefer to just post the finished concept. But there’d be an element of kirin being more consistent but unicorns could potentially do far more in ideal circumstances. I’d go for a different angle with kirin, wouldn’t go the nirik form fire angle, plan to pull some different abilities from mythology. I’ll describe it more someday.

For now, hopefully i have achieved the most important goal of CUTE MARE
