she did not accept the terms officially, but absolutely had a “gentlemares agreement” where you verbally communicate the terms, and through body-language or implied agreement agree to the bargain that was made.
twilight attempted to win the race, if she declares rainbow to pay her for it then that explicitly implies she agreed to the terms.
afterwards getting disqualified and losing she can not say the agreement was never made.

Agreed. Instantaneous translocation negates travel through space, so while she apparated in another location that was in a different position relative to the finish line, at no point in the process could she be said to have “crossed” it.
However, Twilight never formally accepted the challenge, so the terms of the contest are not binding.
