Nettle is an Arboreal doe of 22 years old, who lives with her tribe on the ancient forests located at the southern base of the Smokey Mountains, and is a craftsdoe that makes jewellery. She makes both basic and enchanted jewellery for whomever in her tribe wants some, and as long as the client supplies the materials- Nettle will design and make it.
Physically, Nettle is small and slight of build for an adult doe, but she is of normal proportions and though she has a few minor burn scars upon her body from workplace injuries, she has no long term physical disabilities or conditions.
Nettle has a notoriously bad memory, though it doesn’t tend to be too much of an issue in everyday life for her, as she lives with her tribe and everyone there takes her forgetfulness into account. Even if their names slip her mind on occasion…
Everyday tasks and orders always get written down into a list, because of Nettle’s terrible memory, and she almost always has a notepad strapped to herself somewhere and a pencil behind her right ear for this very purpose.
As the tribe doesn’t use money, and instead use a barter/favour system, she has multiple copies of a list of previous barter transactions, and of favours she is owed- Nettle considers herself a rich girl in that regard. She actually doesn’t have many possessions apart from her tools, materials, and forge, and her hut/workshop is very spartan when it comes to her own personal items.
As to her personality, Nettle is a friendly and open-minded doe who values honesty and integrity in one’s actions, and has a rather self-deprecating sense of humour. She is happy with her lot in life, and wouldn’t wish for it to be any different. Nettle is notably slow to anger, but her rage is truly something to behold when unleashed.
She is even friendly towards outsiders, and will happily interact with them. This has led to some of the senior Elders within the tribe to consider her foolish and untrustworthy, despite the fact that a group of deer from their own tribe has been sent to establish diplomatic relations with Equestria, and to sow the seeds for true integration. Nettle is well aware of this, and views these particular elders as disgusting hypocrites.
When it comes to more personal matters, Nettle considers herself heterosexual and in a departure from tribal tradition, she couldn’t really care less about the species of a prospective partner. She is a virgin, and is getting very broody- it is almost a physical need for her to have a fawn soon.
She doesn’t have a pet as such, but she has a couple of sparrows that seem to hang around her almost constantly, often perching on her head. Nettle doesn’t seem to mind the attention from the little guys anyways- she named them Mick and Titch, but as they are indistinguishable to her eyes, and she is so forgetful, the names are effectively interchangeable. They seem to not mind too much, at any rate.
