Now I see, it could be possibly X-ray effect. On the feet close-up the sandal looks normal (at least the insole).
But it’s more fun to think, that they’re just special sandals, which has translucent soles, but not their insoles (and Fluttershy could be not aware about their unusual properties, so she had been clueless about showing her bare feet to everyone~)
And jelly sandals, you say? 👀
