Just some edgelord grimdark crap, trying to make MLP seem darker than it is, that sort of thing that I know happened several times with FiM.
In this specific case, it’s imagining Twilight having locked magic away intentionally, so she’s upset with Sunny and the Mane Five for restoring it, I’d wager.
