Quick study using a compass and straight edge. I think I’ve seen this done for show-accurate ponies but I just wanted to break down how I’ve ended up constructing pony heads (from the side anyway) which, in all honesty, isn’t a mile away from the show…. ^.^; Note: I don’t go through this process every single time I draw ponies…. ^.^
Only basic compass geomerty is used here - no measuring. The construction is based on factors of 6. Qutie pleased by how it has turned out as they’re almost androgynous. Faces facinate me although I’m terrible at understanding them.
