Here’s a comparison chart so that you could get a good idea of the type of world building in my upcoming fic, Shadows of Giants.
Alicorns and Alpha-class Kaiju
Alicorns and Alpha-class Kaiju
- Most powerful among their race.
- Considered the top-dogs in their worlds.
- As equally feared as they are respected.
- Alicorns are regarded as royalty. Alpha Kaiju are regarded as the most feared of all Kaiju types.
Unicorns and Beta-class Kaiju
- Second most powerful of their race.
- Less common than Alicorns or Alpha-Class.
- Some Beta Kaiju tend to prefer brute force over intelligence.
Pegasi and Gamma-Class Kaiju
- More common than Unicorns, Alicorns, Alpha Kaiju and Beta Kaiju.
- Not as powerful as the other types before them.
- Gamma Kaiju, at the end of the day, are merely large animals relying on instinct.
Earth Ponies and Delta-class Kaiju
- Most common and least powerful of their race.
- Delta-class Kaiju tend to range from human-size to polar bear-sized. They also happen to either be workers for other Kaiju, parasites or just outright scavengers who follow the much larger Kaiju.

Are you talking about how things work in your headcanon, or actual canon? Because in actual canon it’s not “strength and stamina” that sets earth ponies apart, it’s their ability to grow food and their “good pure heart”s according to the Cadance book that was put out. We’ve seen Rainbow Dash beat Applejack in contests of strength before, so I don’t know how that misconception started or why it persists.
Okay, ignoring how common they are, I’m listing how powerful they are. Alicorns are the most powerful because they combine all the aspects of pegasi (wings), unicorns (magic capabilities) and earth pony (strength and stamina), unicorns are the second most powerful because they are capable of magic, pegasi are the third most powerful because of their flight and limited weather magic (they walk on clouds and control the weather) and earth ponies are powerful in terms of stamina and strength but not much else. Same can be applied to the Kaiju. Alphas are the most feared because of how much damage they can cause and how intelligent they are, betas are powerful but most of them rely on their brawn as opposed to their brains (example being Megalon who, while he may shoot napalm and lightning, has the intelligence of a sack of bricks), gammas, while they may be gigantic, are nothing more but mere animals acting on sheer instinct and deltas range from being workers, parasites or scavengers who follow other Kaiju to eat the scraps left behind but they are dangerous because they are a more human-sized threat and they are especially dangerous in large numbers.
You disregarding any unicorns other then ones that pay a part in any story…
Dude that’s not by Ponyville terms, that’s by your own trems.
We have SEEN more unicorns then there are alicorns, you need to get your facts straight or just admit your not going by any facts.
Again, going by Ponyville terms, they kind of ARE. You’re better off finding more unicorns in Canterlot than Ponyville.
Yet you claim that Unicorns are less common than Alicorns.
Yes, that is exactly what I’m trying to say. I’m also listing the two seperate species (pony and Kaiju) in terms of, not only how common they are, but also in terms of how powerful.
That still make unicorns more common then alicorns.
I think it depends on the area. Good luck finding an Earth Pony or Unicorn in Cloudsdale.

I mean a few unicorns live in Ponyville , and with Twilight as an Alicorn living ther that make just one you will see there normally.
