Is Celestia gonna have to smack a Nostalgia bitch?

I thought about why Celestia is a princess and no queen:  
There is still a queen, Celestia’s and Luna’s mother, but she set out to explore the universe and while she is away Celestia must take care of the world.

Celestia can be a princess because she’s a co-regent with Luna. Cadence and Twilight should really be like countesses or baronesses or duchesses or something like that. Even though Cadence ruling the Crystal Empire implies she would be an Empress, an empire rules over several nations, which is really more what Luna and Tia do. So then sure, Cadence can be a princess, Twilight is a duchess, and the other two are co-empresses. I wonder if there’s like an Equestrian parliament with like houses representing each pony race and governors of the nations within it. There’s a mayor, so why not? Or maybe an imperial senate, like in Rome…

Of course, the actual reason is because Hasbro insisted on it because of some ridiculous notion that Disney has caused Queens to be associated with evil and Princesses with good. I’ve always considered the Canon reason to be because Celestia and Luna are technically co-regents and you can have two Princesses but you can’t have two Queens.

also you have to remember royalty can also happen to have multiple titles so it is possible that celestia is a queen just goes by her princess title either because of Luna or she’s just humble like that.

I think the main problem here is that people take the Nostalgia Critic’s title too literally.
 
He’s not a critic, he’s a comedian. He only calls himself “critic” because it sounds a lot better that way.

Anyway, the obvious reason Celestia didn’t want to be titled Queen was she wanted to be equal to her younger sister…for 1000 years of banishment.
 
Yes, she probably got a lot of flack from that from the nobles, but Celestia and Luna are age-wise immortal and worshiped as gods which they quite literally are, what the hell does she care?
